Chidiyeah!

I am a retired military aviator with a passion for nature and all things avian. Since 2003, I have dedicated myself to bird watching, capturing moments with my camera, including some stunning photographs that the Chidiyeah team generously allowed me to take! In the birding community, I am known by my pseudonym, the White-Haired Macha.

My blog features engaging stories and anecdotes about the three Bs: bird watching, banter (or Baatcheet), and breakfast, with a primary focus on bird watching! It will include regular birding reports as well as my personal encounters across India (thanks to the military), showcasing photographs of the ever so fascinating ChidiYeahs (birds) and the unique White-Haired Macha.

I started this blog to share my experiences with my friends and family, both while bird watching solo and birding in the company of fellow birders and non-birders.
